Here are the rules for participating in the RPG.

First off, welcome to the ASB RPG. This thread will be for containing your characters information and the team they currently have on hand, as well as what to refer to your character as you play in the RPG.

To join, you'll need to fill out the following form, with a few things to note.

Team: Choose a team of six out of your entire ASB Team. You can add some new Pokémon, or evolve some others. For those not a member of TPM's ASB, you can pick a team of six Pokémon within reason for your team and some others in your PC.

Legendaries: Since this is a more RP aspect than battle strength, each player may have a single Legendary Pokémon from the Generation 1, 2, or 3. However in order to receive one, you must be a participating and active member in TPM's ASB.

[Crazy Elf Boy]

Name: Sebastian.L.Coyle
Title: Keeper of the Steak
Age: 18
Sex: Male
Appearance: Sebastian is about 5'10" with short wavy brown with bright green eyes like 2 emerald crystals. He normally dons a black cap with his favourite baseball teams insignia on it, the Lisen Lucarios. His top also bears the Lucarios symbol but the colour is white instead of gold, while on his legs he usually goes for a long pair on stonewashed jeans. He also carries a pair of dark black sunglasses and a pair of fingerless gloves.
Personality: Sebastian is a nice guy but sometimes he is a little crazy and flies off the handle usually to the disdain of other people. Other then that he is queit but when he is engaged in a topic that he enjoys then he beomces very prolific in his words. Sometimes his reclusiveness makes him inaccessable to other people but he has a strong connection with his pokemon.
Starting Region: Greenbranch Town, Kaloem
Battling Style: Sebastian likes to use strategy and the surrounding field to his advantage.
Battling Weakness: Sometimes he becomes a little hot headed when he is winning a match and might be liable to make mistakes.

Muddly Kippington the 4th
Muddly was the first pokemon he owned, he recieved Muddly from proffessor Rose at the age of 15. Shortly after he discovered that Muddly is cynical, quick witted and hates everyone but himself. He always wears his suit and will only battle if he feels the need to.

Seraph (M)
Sebastian met Seraph early into his journey when he saved Sebastian, Muddly and Kitsune from being devoured by a bunch of angry bugs. Since that fateful day Seraph has had a strong sense of needed to protect Sebastian and will do anything to make sure that happens.

Kitsune-Chan (M)
Kitsune was the first pokemon that Sebastian caught with minor assistance from Muddly. He usually follows Sebastian where ever he goes and till he evolved used to ride around on Sebastian's shoulder, how ever he fully doesn't understand this concept and will bowl Sebastian over trying to do it now.

Mary Celeste (F)
Mary Celeste is Sebastian's Strategist, she is mean and domineering with her own skills for coming up with stratergies mid battle to help the out come. Sometimes she doesn't listen to what Sebastian says and will go ahead and do what she thinks is right. Unfortunately for Sebastian this is usually most of the time.

Gaara (M)
Gaara is the powerhouse of Sebastian's group, he is a strong pokemon who is more likely to charge anything head on without much thought. Most times he has done this he has gotten himself into more trouble then he bargined for. He also has a few fueds with Seraph since he thinks that he should be the only ground type.

Miniquaza (Imagine that picture but way smaller)
Miniquaza is still a hatchling and still curious about everything around him, he has kind of imprinted Sebastian as a mother figure so he will always stay close to him and will fly back behind him if anything remotely scary to him. Sebastian came across a Rayquaza egg during his travels during his adventure in Kaloem, it looked like it had been abandoned so he made it his duty to find the eggs mother. But upon discovering that the mother had unforutnately died from being harrased by poachers he decided to look after the egg himself.

He also has more in his PC but these are the ones he carries around with him
Likes: Steak, Rainbows, Cool Looking Pokemon and Chocolate.
Dislikes: Anyone that annoys him
History: Sebastian grew up in Greenbranch Town at the age of 15 then began his pokemon journey, after defeating the gym leaders of Kaloem he began to search other pokemon regions to improve his skills.
Other: Not much really.

Name: Asi Flow
Title: Professor
Age: 25
Gender: Female
Appearance:

Long lavendar hair, blue eyes. Wears small oval glasses and a lab coat with black clothes underneath. Keeps a custom made black leather belt with her custom pokeballs under the labcoat, and likes to swish her coat out of the way dramatically as she brings them out. Before battling she will put her hair up in a ponytail, and only take it down once the battle is over.
Personality: Most of the time she is calm and calculating while battling, but sometimes she will lose her cool when things start going badly. Is very curious and always up to learn something new. Likes to invent interesting and sometimes ridiculous rules for her battles, and loves to design new pokeballs. Seeks out the rare and unusual.
Hometown: Fortree City, Hoenn
Battling Style: Type Advantage, Super Effective moves, and Status Inducers.
Battling Weakness: Prone to absentmindedness, though her pokedex is always at hand she will often misread something out of haste. Throws herself into situations without pondering the consequences.

History: After growing up in the wooded area of Fortree City, she left to study at a Pokemon Research Academy under Professor Almond and then deciding that she could further her studies of pokemon by battling out of the controlled setting of the lab she decided to go out into the world as a budding trainer. Was recently promoted to Professor.

Name: Joey Zek but introduces herself as Drakku.
Title: none
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Appearance: Tan skin, crimson eyes, long red hair that’s often tied into a ponytail with a black ribbon. Her eyes are long and pointed, and twitch when they ear sounds (they also move to reflect moods). She wears XL men’s black t-shirt that has been cut to expose her midriff. She wears baggy dark blue shorts that are held up by two black belts with silver buckles. The shorts have numerous pockets. On her left leg is a long sock that come up to her knee and is blue and black striped. She has white and blue skater shoes. And also has a pair of arm warmers, one is black and the other is blue. Drakku is short, standing 4’8’’. She’s rather cute, but her height prevents anyone from taking her seriously in that manner.
Personality: Warm, happy, and loveable. Drakku is a people person and kind to just about everyone. She’s very smart, though often the way she words things makes it seem otherwise. Drakku is good at giving advice and listening. She respects most people, but if you lose that respect it’s hard to get it back. She’s very curious by nature, and hates receiving help. So she’s often toughing it on her own because of this. Joey’s also blunt, she doesn’t dance around things. But has a great sense of humour and loves to laugh.

History: Grew up on the streets of Goldenrod, was involved in illegal activity but swears she’s come clean in all that. She rescued a Scyther from an abusive trainer, and from there on vowed to help all abused pokemon she could find (that’s 52 so far).
Other: Like’s Final Fantasy.

[Mew Master]

Name: Dante Richards
Title: Artist of the Heart
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Appearance: He's tall, at 6'4" with a large build. His bright green eyes are behind a set of rounded glasses. He'll wear a western style hat with a feather through the band on the left side and a PM pin on the other. His hair is long, black, and either kept loose or tied back depending on situation. The rest of his attire is conventional, except for a pair of black loose pants with metal buckles, loops, and chains. He has black boots, and also wears a long black rain-guard coat over everything, but will exchange that for a light denim over shirt for nicer weather.
Personality: Dante is fun loving, a bit laid back, and has a tendency to point out the obvious. While he has a calm demeanor, he does have a habit of jumping without thinking. He makes friends easy due to his fun loving and sarcastic side. People sometimes come to him with problems and he listens, offers what advice he can, and is there when someone needs a fencepost. Dante also over-reacts in comedic way, depending on the situation. If he can get a laugh out of someone for something random, then all the better.
Hometown: Pallet
Battling Style: More flare than effectiveness, Dante goes for the awe inspiring battle techniques that bring forth the inspiration for his art. Hoping to inspire the same in his opponents. The appearance of the battle is more important to him than winning, even using some unconventional methods to make the battle interesting. His record isn't that good, but then again it's more about enjoying ones self than winning. He's no slouch though.
Battling Weakness: Sometimes his brain fails him on what moves are or are not effective against specific types, which do tend to be his downfall in matches.

Niji (♀)
Special: Non combative. As Dante's “starter” Niji is perhaps the one Pokémon that he rarely uses, if ever. Niji appears to have been traumatized at some point in her young life, and battling forces her to relive whatever she went through. While she may get over it, Dante doesn't even use her for Contests, for fear of making Niji lose control of herself. She's the reason he got his trainer license so he could care for her as a compainion, and not abuse her incredible powers. She doesn't stay inside her Poké Ball

Ziz (♂)
Special: Of any of Dante's Pokémon, Ziz is the one that is ready for a battle. His predator instincts (and scar over his left eye) are a testament to his strength and tenacity. Able to take on other Pokémon that could easily beat him, he's shown incredible adaptive strategies in order to turn the tide, and the opposing Pokémon, to his razor sharp fangs and claws.

Blade (♂)
Special: Blade is the martial artist and diplomat. His elder bother has already evolved into a Scizor, while Blade has chosen to remain as he is, disciplining his mind and body to be not only a weapon, but a weapon with restraint, intent, will, and protection.

Godzilla (♂)
Special: One of Dante's newest members, Godzilla is turning into a smaller Fire-version of Ziz and Blade. Strong, intimidating, and willing to take on any comers, Godzilla is a match to be fought with. He's also protective of Niji, in a way that could be described as the Warrior's Honour, or love. It's hard to tell.

Wadjet (♀)
Special: Wadjet is a beauty among the sands. Shy, loveable, she loves to sing more than battle, but can hold her own none the less. Named for a goddess of the sands, the Flygon maintains her personality and her joy in any battle she may be in.

Tsunami (♀)
Special: One of a clutch of thee, Tsunami (along with her brothers Liger and Jager) first evolved early due to an accident involving the elemental stones that were still sitting in Dante's bag while the three were playing. Elusive, and shy about her appearance, Tsunami is a little beauty when it comes to water dances and getting the attention of the opposite sex. Still young in mind, Tsunami is growing up quickly.

Likes: Drawing, history, inspiring matches, good food, good friends, caring for his Pokémon, and seeing the world.
Dislikes: Abusive trainers, mushrooms, fast battles, expensive hotels, and not having any lead in his pencils.
History: Dante wasn't originally going to be a trainer, in fact Pokémon training was far from his mind. However when Niji was left on his doorstep (seemingly to die), he took the exams early in order to care for her. As such he got a leave from school and decided to see the world. Seeing and sketching much more than what he could in Pallet, he continued training, traveling around with friends, participating in a few contests, and acquiring Pokémon through trades or catching that caught his eye and looked like they'd be good friends for him and Niji. He even went out of his way to care for Pokémon eggs and then gave the hatchlings to his friends as gifts, even when they were Pokémon that he himself would have liked to have.
Other: He takes great pride in his Pokémon, cleaning and brushing them as they recover after a long hard battle. Using Potions, Berries, and Elixirs to help them recover for whatever challenge they may face. He's tried his hand in a few contests, and has done okay, but not spectacular as his move combinations seem to be a bit out there for the judges and crowd to appreciate. He enjoys traveling and talking with people about things that they've seen, and hopes to see more of the world someday. His art has become famous because of his depictions of Pokémon in action inspiring others to go out and join the world. Dante gets some income for every replica of his art that's produced and sold, and the originals have been going for prices into the thousands. He collects and raises mostly Dragon and Fire type Pokémon. He also names his Pokémon after mythological creatures, mostly mythological dragons.

Name: Hikari Meoru (Hik for short)
Title: Wandering Referee of the Ages
Age: ..unsure..
Gender: Male

Appearance:


Hikari is a slim bodied individual, whom sticks out only because of his green hair. Though a common color in Nippon, its rare for a male to have it grown to such a length. Usually wears a dark green set of samurai pants, and a slightly baggy white shirt. Its to hide his extremely skinny(yet toned) frame. Also carries a sword that seems to have no hilt whatsoever, so the actual point where it exits the sheath is a mystery to all but Hikari.

Personality:
Soft spoken, Hikari is truly reluctant to really make connections to anyone, and that's because of his wandering lifestyle. Though he is accustomed to settling down in places and being vocal when he feels its necessary to have things be known.

Hometown:
If memory serves right, Azaela.

Battling Style:
Complex moves that have hidden benefits not immediately seen to the opposition or the viewing public.

Battling Weakness:
Often tries to think too far ahead of the current battle, allowing for variables to intercede and impede his judgment.

History:
Hikari was going to grow up to be a Pokemon Trainer, and also a Tournament Referee, until he got caught up with some illegal trades for money on the hard streets of Azaela. He was eventually caught by the police and sent to a correctional facility. That didn't work out too well as the inmates that were being transported along with himself were caught in a nasty rainstorm. As the bus plunged down a steep ravine, headed or certain doom, Hikari prayed for a second chance to understand all that life could offer at any and all possible times.

It was then that he opened his eyes, after what seemed like an eternity, to find himself on solid ground. Looking round, he was not sure of his savior, until a small, black-green colored Celebi flew into his face. It was then that Hikari knew his new path in life....

Or so...that's the story he tells folks this time .

Other:
Is a adept swordsman, possibly none faster at the draw. Also knows alot about different time periods. Seems to also have a few nice homes in a few places, oddly enough.

Name: Gavin Wynder
Title[b/]: God of Pie!
Age: 26
Gender: M
Appearance: Just over 6ft tall, Brown hair and blue eyes. Wears Blue jeans and casual Trainers but is usually found wearing a sports shirt of some description. Usually the Orange and Black colours of his home town team. When journeying likes to wear black fingerless gloves and carries a simple backpack.
Personality: Quite easy going but can sometimes get a little obsessive. Easily makes friends but rarely trusts others, preffering to do everything himself despite sometimes coming across as lazy in his general demeanour.
Hometown: Ochre Village, Kanto.
Battling Style: A Precise style. Despite his team having many powerfull pokemon he's not the type to try and overpower opponents with blunt force. Hes happy to wait for openings to apply that force at specific moments for maximum effect. Likes to think around problems instead of trying to smash through them.
Battling Weakness: Has a habit of getting frustrated if hes tactics dont go according to plan. Basically If thinking doesnt work he does resort to smashing through opponents.
Team: (Yes i know its not what i said above )

His pushes Charizard for 'most powerfull' on Gavins team and the two have a friendly rivalry because of this.

The most easy going of the team. Likes to sit and sun himself but fiercely protective of his friends and dangerous when in the mood to battle

Mischeivous, has a personality similar to that of a Jack Russel Terrier in that he will willingly challenge anything in an effort to prove his strength. Saw a tv show about a trainers Pikachu that wanted to prove its strength without needing to evolve and so of course he wont either. Given the chance would gladly de-evolve back to a Pichu to prove he could go 1 step better.

Relatively new to the team Garchomp is the sullen moody one. Possibly because she occupies the 'utility' slot on the Pokeball belt and finds herself back at the pokemon lab fairly often. Has some jealousy towards the other more regular members of the team.

One of his original Pokemon. Has learned over the years how to angle its body to minimise the damage done by water attacks. Isnt so weak that it hurts when it rains and can even survive full immersion if it isnt for too long.

Though still young Lugia is quite powerfull. Adopted this pokemon when it was still a baby after finding it with a broken wing while on his travels. Was unable to find its mother and so brought it along with him. Lets it stay at home the majority of the time as its not a common battler and he Doesnt like the 'he only got good cos he has a Legendary' opinion.

Likes: Helping others (ie inexperienced trainers) and seeing them progress.
Dislikes: Selfish people, Bullies and anyone knowingly treading on others to reach their goals and similarly people who expect everything given to them on a plate.
History: Started his training career at 10 like any other. By 18 he was a recognised Champion of multiple leagues and bordering on Pokemon master status. Stopped competing when he turned 20 and opened a school for trainers. Took in many who thought they werent experienced enough or not doing the right thing, down to kids below 10 who wanted a headstart in their knowledge. Felt the fire to compete again recently and this invitation was all the excuse he needed.
Other: Has a long running obsession with 'Starter Pokemon' but recognises the need for variety on teams so doesnt limit himself.

Name: Cameron ‘Cam’
Title: … none
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Appearance: She’s beautiful, people notice her anywhere because of her appearance. She’s slim and athletic, with fair skin, the most attractive, ocean blue eyes seen anyway, and strawberry blond (light pink) hair… Its styled like this because I am way to lazy to draw it. Her expression is one of contemplation and seriousness, though she has a good sense of humour and isn’t anti-social by any means. She wears a vest/coat that’s white and beige like the one in the picture, but underneath is a black turtle-neck with a silver zipper. For pants she had dark blue jeans that are faded in places, and slightly loose with numerous pockets and chains hanging from them. She has tan boots that look somewhat combatish in appearance. Her belt is tan with a silver buckle.
Personality: Cameron doesn’t trust people, it’s not obvious at first but she rarely talks about herself in depth. She’s more than willing to listen to other people’s problems and worries, or stories about when they were younger, but Cam doesn’t say anything about herself. She’s friendly enough, and has a good sense of humour and overall seems like a kind person. The woman has a secretive nature, often texting or receiving calls from God knows who, and will leave to make sure no one knows what’s going on. Cameron doesn’t get scared easily, and usually has a keen focus on her goal that’s not likely to waver, she also doesn’t accept failure of herself or others.
Hometown: Goldenrod City
Battling Style: Vicious
Battling Weakness: Not saying XP
Team: Bahamut (Salamence ♂), Dusknoir ♂, Ninetales ♀, Sneasel ♀ (she only carries 4 with her at the beginning, and she never releases Sin unless very angry, they’re still from my team but they have no names for now.).
Likes: Privacy, and her pokemon… She also loves her phone, which is the equivalent of an iPhone… And singing, though she never does it with people around (though she’s quite good).
Dislikes: People in general.
History: She grew up in Goldenrod, but ended up running away from home when she found a Bagon but wasn’t allowed to keep it. Cameron has a shady past, though she swore it off once the crime syndicates began to fall apart (specifically Rockets). She received the email and decided to go, though there’s probably more to the story than that. But Cam isn’t likely to tell.
Other: People really only know she has a Salamence and a Nintales, she rarely uses the other two.
